Redwood Lodge is located only 10 minutes from the world-famous Waitomo caves and the classic kiwi town of Otorohanga. The lodge offers peace, tranquillity and affordable luxury, and has been renovated recently to a very high standard; it is located in the heart of the wonderful Waikato countryside.
This quality Qualmark approved 4-star bed & breakfast offers spacious en-suite double rooms with either king or queen beds, together with efficient heating and air-conditioning. There are 8 acres of wonderful grounds, an in-ground swimming pool, spa pool and sauna for guests relaxation and delight. There is also a separate guest lounge featuring an open log fire, pool table, TV/video, many books and a wide selection of popular video titles. A delicious and filling breakfast with a choice of continental or full English, and lovely homemade preserves are standard.

Transportation - Redwood Lodge Homestay B&B Otorohanga


If approaching from the North via Otorohanga Leaving Otorohanga in the direction of Te Kuiti on State Highway 3 cross over the river and take the next left into Otewa Road pass under the railway bridge. Take the next road to the right - Old Te Kuiti Road (ignoring the first opening on the right which is a dead end). Follow Old Te Kuiti Road, (about 7 kms) after passing MacDonalds Lime works take the next road to the left - Puketawai Road. Follow this road until you come to the post and rail fencing bordering pasture with mature trees. Redwood Lodge is on the right at the end of the fencing. If approaching from South via Te Kuiti Leave Te Kuiti via State Highway 3 towards Otorohanga; proceed along this road until a signpost for a staggered junction appears. The left turn is towards Waitomo, the right towards Hangatiki. Take this right turn. Cross the river and railway line, follow this road passing two turnings to the right. Take third turning right into Puketawai Road. Follow this road until you come to the post and rail fencing bordering pasture with mature trees. Redwood Lodge is on the right at the end of the fencing.
